OnTrack Flood and Storm Recovery

OnTrack Flood and Storm Recovery

OnTrack Flood and Storm Recovery aims to help people use their strengths to work through practical problems following disasters. It gives information to understand your reactions, guides you towards making a recovery plan and supports you in moving forward.

The program recognises that people will face different challenges and every person will try to cope in their own way. For many people, this program will be enough to help them get back on track. For others, they may need some more support.

How do I use OnTrack Flood and Storm Recovery?

How do I use OnTrack Flood and Storm Recovery?

You can log on as often as you want, at times and places that suit you. The program provides instructions and guidance, so you can work through it by yourself at your own pace. If someone you care about has also been affected by the floods and storms you can work through the program together, but it is best if you both get your own login details so the program can save the information you enter. Even when you have finished the program, you can come back and use the tools again or download more information.

Use the Flood and Storm Recovery quiz to check on how you’re doing every couple of months. If you are still very distressed you may need more support - make an appointment with your doctor or another health professional. Tell them about the program you were doing as they will probably like to know what other support you have accessed.

One of the other OnTrack programs might also be helpful depending on the difficulties you may be having.
